Fuse interfacing to the outer fabric
Sew any exterior pockets
Assemble the outer bag pieces
Sew the lining pieces together
Install the zipper or closure
Attach straps, handles, or hardware
Insert the lining into the outer bag
Stitch the top edge closed
Turn the bag right side out
Press the seams
Topstitch if needed
Finish and inspect the handbag
