How to Make Korean Bulgogi?

Thinly slice 1 lb beef ribeye, sirloin, or tenderloin against the grain

Mix 1/2 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 3 tbsp grated Asian pear or apple, 3 cloves minced garlic, 1 tsp grated ginger, 2 tbsp chopped green onion, and 1/2 tsp black pepper

Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well

Marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 to 4 hours

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat

Cook the beef in a single layer until browned and cooked through

Add sliced onions, carrots, mushrooms, or green onions if desired

Sprinkle with sesame seeds

Serve with steamed rice and lettuce wraps if desired
