Approach the ball at a slight angle
Plant your non-kicking foot beside the ball
Keep your ankle locked
Strike the ball with the inside of your foot for curve
Contact the ball slightly off-center
Follow through across your body
Lean your body slightly over the ball
Use your hips to generate controlled rotation
Aim for the side of the ball you want it to bend away from
Practice with a stationary ball first
Repeat with both feet to improve control
