Open Google Chrome
Click Chrome in the top menu bar
Select Settings
In the Default browser section, click Make default
If prompted, confirm in System Settings
Open Apple menu
Go to System Settings
Click Desktop & Dock
Find Default web browser
Select Google Chrome from the dropdown
