Create a Canva account or sign in
Open Canva and choose a design type (e.g., Presentation, Poster, Instagram Post, Document, Video)
Select a template or choose a blank design
Set your canvas size (if prompted) or choose a custom size
Use the left sidebar to add elements (Text, Photos, Videos, Audio, Charts, Shapes)
Add text by clicking Text, choosing a style, and typing your content
Upload your own files by selecting Uploads and then Upload files or Upload folder
Edit images by clicking an element, then using options like Crop, Edit photo, Filters, and Adjust
Customize colors by selecting an element and changing Fill/Stroke or using the color palette
Arrange layout by dragging elements and using Position/Layer options (Bring forward/Send backward)
Use alignment and spacing tools from the top toolbar or by selecting multiple elements
Select backgrounds by clicking the background area and choosing a color or image
Add icons, stickers, or graphics from Elements
Create charts by selecting Charts and choosing a chart type, then editing data
Add pages by selecting Add page and duplicate or reorder as needed
Preview your design using the Preview button
Collaborate by clicking Share and inviting others via email or link
Download by clicking Download and choosing a format (PNG, JPG, PDF Print, PDF Standard, MP4, etc.)
Share online by clicking Share and choosing a link or publishing options (if available)
