Let the top 1–2 inches of soil dry out between waterings
Remove standing water from saucers and trays
Water from the bottom when possible
Replace or top-dress infested soil with fresh, dry potting mix
Repot heavily infested plants with sterile soil
Remove decaying leaves, stems, and plant debris
Use yellow sticky traps near affected plants

Quarantine infested plants from healthy ones
Avoid overwatering
Clean pots and plant areas regularly
Use a fan to keep air moving around plants
Inspect new plants before bringing them indoors
