Draw an oval for the chicken’s body
Add a smaller circle for the head
Sketch a beak from the front of the head
Draw a small wattle under the beak
Add an eye on the head
Draw a curved neck connecting head to body
Add a wing on the side of the body with a curved shape
Draw two legs extending from the bottom of the body
Add three toes on each foot
Sketch a tail with several curved feathers behind the body
Add comb on top of the head with a few scallops
Refine the outline by smoothing and thickening key lines
Erase extra construction lines
Add feather details with short curved strokes on the body and tail
Shade the body with light and dark areas
Color (optional): add browns, reds, whites, and/or blacks
