Open the Facebook post
Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the post
Select Turn off commenting
If you do not see that option, change the post audience or privacy settings
For a group post, tap the three dots and choose Turn off commenting if available
For a page post, use the post settings or moderation tools to restrict comments
On some posts, only admins or the original poster can disable comments
If comments cannot be turned off, hide or delete individual comments instead
