Heat water to just off the boil
Add coarse coffee grounds to the press
Pour a small amount of hot water over the grounds
Stir gently to wet all grounds
Add the remaining water
Place the lid on with the plunger pulled up
Let the coffee steep for about 4 minutes
Press the plunger down slowly and steadily
Pour the coffee immediately
Serve right away
Rinse and clean the press after use
