Wash your hands
Relax your pelvic floor muscles
Sit, squat, or stand with one leg raised
Locate the base of the cup
Pinch the base to break the seal
Gently wiggle the cup side to side while pulling it down
Keep the cup upright as much as possible
Empty the contents into the toilet or sink
Rinse the cup with water
Reinsert or store the cup as needed
