How to Do the Lateral Raise?

Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart

Hold a dumbbell in each hand at your sides

Keep a slight bend in your elbows

Brace your core and keep your chest up

Raise both arms out to the sides until they reach shoulder height

Keep your wrists neutral and elbows slightly higher than your hands

Pause briefly at the top

Lower the dumbbells slowly back to the starting position

Keep your shoulders down and avoid shrugging

Repeat for the desired number of reps
