Sudden pain that starts near the belly button and moves to the lower right abdomen
Pain that gets worse quickly
Severe pain when walking, coughing, or moving
Tenderness in the lower right abdomen
Hard or rigid belly
Fever
Nausea or vomiting
Loss of appetite
Swollen abdomen
Inability to pass gas or have a bowel movement
Fast heartbeat
Feeling very weak, dizzy, or faint
Pain that suddenly improves and then gets much worse again
Go to the emergency room immediately if you suspect a burst appendix
