2 oz amaretto
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz egg white or aquafaba, optional
Ice
Lemon wheel or cherry, for garnish
Add amaretto, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white or aquafaba if using to a shaker
Dry shake if using egg white or aquafaba
Add ice and shake again until well chilled
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice or into a coupe glass
Garnish with a lemon wheel or cherry
