Put AirPods Pro or AirPods Max in your ears
Connect them to your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
Open Control Center
Press and hold the volume slider
Tap Noise Control
Select Noise Cancellation
On iPhone or iPad, you can also:
Go to Settings
Tap Bluetooth
Tap the Info button next to your AirPods
Under Noise Control, select Noise Cancellation
On AirPods Pro, you can also:
Press and hold the force sensor on the stem
Switch to Noise Cancellation if it is set up
On AirPods Max, you can also:
Press the noise control button on the right ear cup
Switch to Noise Cancellation if needed
