Start playing a title on Netflix
Open the audio and subtitles menu
Select Off under subtitles
Close the menu and continue watching
On TV or streaming devices, use the remote to open subtitle settings and turn subtitles off
On mobile or web, tap or click the speech bubble or audio and subtitles icon and choose Off
If captions still appear, check the device accessibility settings and disable closed captions there
