Measure the hem allowance and cut hem tape to the needed length
Turn the fabric edge to the desired hem depth and press it flat
Place the hem tape between the folded fabric layers
Align the tape evenly along the hem
Cover the area with a pressing cloth if needed
Press with a hot iron according to the tape instructions
Hold the iron in place for the recommended time
Let the hem cool completely before moving it
Check that the hem is bonded securely
Repress any loose sections if necessary
