Fill the water tank with clean water
Secure the tank back into the steam mop
Plug the mop into a grounded outlet
Attach a clean mop pad to the bottom
Wait for the mop to heat up
Press the steam trigger or activate steam as directed by the model
Move the mop slowly over the floor
Use steady back-and-forth motions
Avoid leaving the mop in one spot for too long
Refill the tank when water runs low
Unplug the mop after use
Remove the mop pad and let it cool
Empty any remaining water from the tank
Clean the mop pad according to the care instructions
Store the mop in a dry place
