Turn off the camera and remove the lens
Use a blower to remove loose dust and debris
Brush away remaining particles with a soft lens brush
Apply a small amount of lens cleaning solution to a microfiber cloth or lens tissue
Wipe the lens gently in a circular motion from the center outward
Clean the front element and rear element carefully
Use a dry microfiber cloth to remove any remaining moisture or streaks
Inspect the lens under light for smudges or dust
Repeat gently if needed
Replace the lens cap when finished
Store the lens in a clean, dry case or bag
