Preheat the grill to medium heat
Clean the grill grates
Place the hot dogs on the grill
Cook for 5 to 7 minutes
Turn the hot dogs occasionally
Grill until heated through and lightly charred
Toast the buns on the grill if desired
Remove the hot dogs from the grill
Serve immediately
