Gather diamond or netherite armor, a strong sword, a bow, arrows, a shield, blocks, water buckets, and plenty of food
Bring at least one carved pumpkin if you want to avoid enderman aggression
Bring ender pearls, slow falling potions, healing potions, and strength potions if available
Enter the End through an activated End Portal
Destroy all end crystals on the obsidian pillars
Use a bow or snowballs to break crystals from a distance
Climb pillars carefully to break protected crystals if needed
Avoid looking at endermen and keep water ready to repel them
Attack the dragon when it lands on the central portal bedrock
Use melee attacks with a sword or axe during landing phases
Shoot the dragon with arrows while it flies
Use beds or respawn anchors only if you know the explosion strategy and can do it safely
Keep moving to avoid dragon breath and knockback
Refill health and hunger whenever needed
Finish the dragon off after enough damage
Collect the experience and dragon egg after victory
