Remove the laces from the shoes
Insert each lace end into the bottom eyelets from the outside in
Make sure both lace ends are even
Cross the left lace over the right lace
Feed each lace end through the next eyelet up on the opposite side
Continue crossing and threading upward through all eyelets
Keep the lace tension even on both sides
Adjust the laces so the tongue sits centered
Tie the laces at the top with a standard bow
Tuck or leave the lace ends as desired
