Fill a glass with ice
Add 1 part rum
Add 1 part brandy
Separate one egg
Beat the egg white until frothy
Beat the egg yolk with sugar
Combine the yolk mixture with the spirits
Fold in the egg white
Add a pinch of nutmeg
Top with hot milk or hot water
Stir well
Serve immediately
