Open the Google Maps app on your iPhone
Tap your profile picture or initial
Tap Settings
Tap Default apps
Tap Maps
Select Google Maps
If you do not see this option, update iOS and the Google Maps app
If needed, set Google Maps as the default for links in supported apps manually
Open a link in Safari or another app and choose Google Maps when prompted
