How to Make Rice Noodle?

Rinse rice until the water runs mostly clear

Soak the rice in water for several hours or overnight

Drain the rice completely

Blend the soaked rice with fresh water until smooth

Strain the batter through a fine sieve or cloth

Add salt if desired

Heat a steamer or prepare a thin steaming tray

Pour a thin layer of batter into the tray

Steam until the rice sheet is set

Remove the cooked rice sheet and cool slightly

Brush with oil to prevent sticking

Cut into noodle strips

Repeat with the remaining batter

Use immediately or store covered to keep from drying out
