Take photos before disassembly
Label and save all hardware
Remove staples, tacks, and trim
Inspect the frame and springs
Repair loose joints and damaged parts
Replace worn padding or foam
Measure and cut new fabric
Use the old fabric as a pattern
Align fabric pattern and grain
Attach fabric starting from the center
Pull fabric tight and staple evenly
Work around corners carefully
Trim excess fabric
Reattach welt, trim, and buttons
Reassemble the piece
Check for wrinkles and loose areas
