Gather a clean spoolie, eyebrow scissors, tweezers, a brow pencil, and a mirror
Wash your face and work in bright natural light
Brush eyebrow hairs upward with a spoolie
Trim only the longest hairs that extend above the natural brow line
Mark your desired brow shape lightly with a brow pencil
Tweeze stray hairs below the brow line and between the brows
Pluck one hair at a time in the direction of growth
Stop frequently to check both brows for symmetry
Avoid overplucking the top edge of the brows
Clean the area with a gentle toner or cool compress after shaping
Fill in sparse areas with a brow pencil or powder if needed
Repeat small touch-ups every few days instead of reshaping too much at once
