Make sure both devices have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on
Make sure both devices are signed in to iCloud
Make sure the Apple ID on both devices is saved in each other’s contacts
Keep the iPhone unlocked and near the Mac
On the Mac, click the Wi-Fi icon and select the network
On the iPhone, tap Share Password when the prompt appears
Wait for the Mac to connect automatically
If the prompt does not appear, restart Wi-Fi on both devices and try again
