Open Bitdefender
Go to Protection
Turn off the protection modules you want to stop
Open Settings
Go to General
Disable Bitdefender Shield
Confirm the prompt if shown
Right-click the Bitdefender icon in the system tray
Select Disable protection or Exit if available
Open Windows Services
Stop Bitdefender services if needed
Restart the computer if required
Re-enable protection when finished
