Craft the right taming food for the dinosaur
Gather narcotics or biotoxin to keep it unconscious if needed
Use a bola, trap, or pen to immobilize the dinosaur
Knock it out with tranquilizer arrows, darts, or club if it is a knockout tame
Feed the dinosaur its preferred food while it is unconscious
Keep its torpor high with narcotics or biotoxin until taming is complete
Protect the dinosaur from damage and predators during taming
Wait for the taming bar to fill completely
Mount or equip the dinosaur after taming is finished
