Remove the battery cover by pressing down and rotating it counterclockwise
Take out the battery
Reinsert the battery if you want to turn it back on
Replace the cover and rotate it clockwise to secure it
If you want to stop tracking without removing the battery, disable Find My notifications on the paired device
If the AirTag is attached to an item you no longer want tracked, remove it from your Apple ID in the Find My app
