How to Use Watercolors?

Gather watercolor paints, watercolor paper, brushes, water, palette, and paper towels

Fill two containers with clean water

Wet the brush and pick up paint from the palette

Test the color on scrap paper

Apply light washes first

Build darker layers gradually

Use more water for lighter, transparent color

Use less water for stronger, more opaque color
