Check the care label first
Turn the pillowcase inside out
Close zippers or fasteners
Wash by hand in cold water with mild detergent, or use a gentle cycle in a mesh laundry bag
Use cold or lukewarm water only
Avoid bleach and harsh detergents
Wash with similar delicate fabrics
Do not overload the washer
Remove promptly after washing
Do not wring or twist the fabric
Gently press out excess water with a clean towel
Air dry flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight
Avoid high heat and tumble drying if possible
If ironing is needed, use the lowest heat setting and place a cloth between the iron and fabric
