Locate the seam on the key fob
Press the release button if your fob has one
Use a flathead screwdriver or coin to gently pry the fob apart
Remove the old battery
Note the battery type and orientation
Insert the new battery in the same orientation
Snap the key fob halves back together
Test the key fob buttons to confirm it works
