Change the cold water every 30 minutes until thawed
Use the microwave defrost setting if you need it quickly
Cook the meat immediately after microwave thawing
Cook the meat soon after cold water thawing
Never defrost minced meat at room temperature
Check that the meat is fully thawed before cooking
