Adjust the seat, mirrors, and steering wheel
Press the clutch pedal fully with your left foot
Make sure the gear lever is in neutral
Start the engine
Keep the clutch pressed
Move the gear lever into first gear
Release the parking brake
Slowly press the accelerator with your right foot
Gradually lift the clutch until the car begins to move
Continue releasing the clutch smoothly while adding light throttle
Shift to higher gears by pressing the clutch, moving the gear lever, and releasing the clutch smoothly
Downshift by pressing the clutch, selecting a lower gear, and releasing the clutch smoothly
Use the brake pedal with your right foot when slowing down
Press the clutch fully before stopping completely
Shift back to neutral when parked or stopped for a long time
Turn off the engine and engage the parking brake
