Use a firm, relaxed posture with your mouth slightly open
Place the tip of your tongue behind your bottom front teeth, or lightly against the roof of your mouth just behind the teeth
Shape your lips tightly as if saying “oo” or “woo”
Blow a steady burst of air through a small gap between your tongue and lips
Adjust the tongue position slightly (forward/back) and try again
Tighten your cheeks and control the airflow to keep the pitch consistent
Practice short attempts, then longer ones, until you can sustain a clear tone
If it doesn’t work, try a smaller or larger mouth opening and re-position your tongue
For a loud whistle, use stronger airflow while keeping the gap small and controlled
