Use the National Archives eVetRecs system to request a copy of your military records
Submit Standard Form 180 to the National Personnel Records Center by mail, fax, or online
Contact your last military branch records office or personnel center
If you are a veteran, check with your county veterans service office for help requesting it
If you need it urgently, contact the appropriate service branch records office directly
If you are separated recently, contact your transition or separation office
If you need a replacement copy, request an official certified copy through the National Archives or your service branch
