Rinse the stain with cold water as soon as possible
Blot gently with a clean cloth or paper towel
Apply liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain
Rub the fabric together gently or use a soft brush
Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes
Rinse again with cold water
Soak in cold water for 30 minutes if the stain remains
Apply hydrogen peroxide to white or colorfast fabrics only
Test hydrogen peroxide on a hidden area first
Use an enzyme stain remover if needed
Wash the clothing in cold water
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the treatment if the stain is still visible
Avoid hot water until the stain is completely gone
Do not put the item in the dryer until the stain is removed
