Turn the garment inside out
Check the care label
Rub the stain gently with a dry cloth or soft brush to remove residue
Apply liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain
Gently rub the fabric together or use a soft brush
Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes
Rinse with cold water
Wash the garment in the warmest water safe for the fabric
For white clothing, use oxygen bleach if needed
For stubborn stains, make a paste of baking soda and water and apply it to the area
Wash again if the stain remains
Air dry before using a dryer
Repeat treatment if necessary
