Blot the stain with a clean paper towel
Apply liquid dish soap or laundry detergent directly to the stain
Gently rub the fabric together or use a soft brush
Rinse with cold water
Repeat if needed
For stubborn stains, apply rubbing alcohol or makeup remover to a hidden area first
Dab the stain with rubbing alcohol using a clean cloth
Rinse again with cold water
Wash the item according to the care label
Air-dry and check that the stain is gone before using heat
If the stain remains, repeat the treatment before drying
