Wash your hands
Check the Mounjaro pen label, dose, and expiration date
Inspect the solution; do not use it if it is cloudy, discolored, or has particles
Choose an injection site on the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm
Avoid injecting into skin that is tender, bruised, red, hard, scarred, or damaged
Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab and let it dry
Remove the pen cap
Place the pen firmly against the skin at the chosen site
Unlock the pen if required
Press and hold the injection button until the injection is complete
Keep the pen in place until the second click or until the indicator shows the dose is finished
Remove the pen from the skin
Dispose of the used pen in a sharps container
Rotate injection sites each week
Use Mounjaro exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider
