Gently massage the area in small circular motions for 1–2 minutes, 2–4 times a day
If available, use an over-the-counter bruise relief product (e.g., arnica or vitamin K) according to label directions
Keep the area clean and avoid picking or scratching
Avoid heavy pressure or aggressive rubbing, especially in the first 24–48 hours
Wear clothing or makeup to conceal it (cover concealer matched to your skin tone, then set lightly with powder)
Drink water and get adequate sleep to support normal healing
Seek medical care if it’s unusually large, very painful, spreading quickly, or you have other concerning symptoms
