Take a healthy stem cutting with 2 to 5 segments
Twist or cut the cutting at a joint
Let the cutting dry and callus for 1 to 3 days
Fill a small pot with a well-draining cactus or succulent mix
Moisten the soil lightly before planting
Insert the cutting about 1/2 to 1 segment deep
Firm the soil gently around the cutting
Place the pot in bright, indirect light
Keep the soil slightly moist, not wet
Water only when the top inch of soil feels dry
Avoid direct sun until roots form
Keep the cutting in warm conditions
Check for rooting after 2 to 6 weeks
Transplant into a larger pot after new growth appears
Use a pot with drainage holes
Plant in a container only slightly larger than the root ball
Repot after flowering if needed
Pinch back stems to encourage fuller growth
Avoid overwatering to prevent rot
