Turn off the dishwasher at the breaker
Shut off the water supply to the dishwasher
Unplug the dishwasher or disconnect hardwired power
Remove the toe kick panel
Check for and disconnect the water supply line
Disconnect the drain hose
Remove the mounting screws securing the dishwasher to the countertop or cabinet
Lower the dishwasher feet if needed
Slide the dishwasher out carefully
Cap or secure any open water lines
Remove the dishwasher from the area
