Unplug the dryer
Locate the thermal fuse on the blower housing or exhaust duct
Remove the wires from the thermal fuse terminals
Set a multimeter to continuity or lowest ohms
Place one probe on each thermal fuse terminal
Check for continuity
If the meter shows continuity or near 0 ohms, the fuse is good
If the meter shows no continuity or infinite resistance, the fuse is blown
Replace the fuse if it is blown
Reconnect the wires after testing or replacement
