Turn off the shower and let the water stop completely
Unscrew the old shower head by turning it counterclockwise
Use a cloth or wrench if the shower head is stuck
Remove any old plumber’s tape or debris from the shower arm threads
Wrap new plumber’s tape clockwise around the shower arm threads
Screw the new shower head onto the shower arm by turning it clockwise
Tighten it by hand until snug
Use a cloth or wrench to gently tighten if needed
Turn on the water and check for leaks
Adjust or retighten if necessary
