1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
Whisk flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla until smooth
Let the batter rest for 15 to 30 minutes
Heat a lightly greased nonstick skillet over medium heat
Pour a small amount of batter into the pan
Tilt the pan to spread the batter thinly
Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the edges lift
Flip the crepe and cook for 30 to 60 seconds
Remove from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter
Fill or top with fruit, chocolate, jam, whipped cream, or savory ingredients
