Brew 1 shot of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong coffee
Heat 1 cup of milk until hot but not boiling
Froth the milk using a frother, whisk, or jar
Pour the espresso or coffee into a mug
Add the steamed milk to the mug
Spoon the milk foam on top
Sweeten if desired with sugar, syrup, or flavored extract
Serve immediately
