How To Measure A Window?

Use a steel tape measure

Measure the width from inside edge to inside edge of the window frame at the top

Measure the width from inside edge to inside edge of the window frame in the middle

Measure the width from inside edge to inside edge of the window frame at the bottom

Record the smallest width

Measure the height from inside edge to inside edge of the window frame on the left side

Measure the height from inside edge to inside edge of the window frame in the middle

Measure the height from inside edge to inside edge of the window frame on the right side

Record the smallest height

Measure the depth of the window opening if needed

Measure in inches

Check that the tape measure is straight and level

Double-check all measurements before ordering or cutting materials
