How To Clean Stainless Steel Pans?

Let the pan cool completely before cleaning

Hand-wash with warm water and mild dish soap

Use a soft sponge or non-scratch scrub pad for everyday residue

For stuck-on food, soak the pan in warm soapy water for 10–30 minutes

Scrub gently in circular motions

Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately with a clean towel

Remove burnt-on spots by boiling water in the pan for 5–10 minutes, then scrape gently

For stubborn stains or discoloration, sprinkle baking soda over the area and add a little water to form a paste

Scrub with a non-scratch pad, then rinse and dry

For heavy grease, soak with a degreasing dish soap solution, then wash and rinse

Use a stainless steel cleaner or polish for dullness or heat tinting, following the product directions

Remove water spots by drying right away or wiping with a vinegar-water solution (1:1), then rinsing and drying

Avoid steel wool, abrasive pads, and harsh cleaners that can scratch or pit

Avoid chlorine bleach and oven cleaners

Avoid leaving food, salt, or acidic liquids (vinegar, tomato, citrus) in contact with the pan for long periods

Store pans dry and stacked carefully to prevent scratching
